DS Group has representations in Switzerland, Kuwait, Dubai and Singapore; thereby opening a number of technical markets looking for specific suppliers and vice versa.

Our main areas of Technical Marketing are for drilling rigs, drilling and E&P related equipment and services, refinery construction, engineering and specialised equipment. The aim of the company is to connect markets looking for drilling or civil engineering suppliers with suitable suppliers. The search can be either way; a market looking for supplier(s) and/or supplier(s) looking for markets.

Once we have either identified a suitable market for a product/service or a product/service for a market, we analyse the requirements, possibly identify a suitably qualified agent, introduce the people involved and help to nurture the expansion of the interchange. If, as is usual, Pre-qualification and tendering is required we offer support throughout the process and can offer further technical assistance under our Engineering section – please see Engineering.

We currently are representing a number of clients in a purely Marketing capacity and in some cases, also in an Engineering capacity. We are proud to be representing Herrenknecht Vertical GmbH with Engineering support and Technical Marketing both for their rig production business and for their drilling contractor arm. For their drilling contractor arm we have identified a specific market, located a suitable agency framework, managed the introductory meetings, assisted through the Pre-qualification process to where the drilling contractor arm is now Pre-qualified and in the tendering phase.

We are also requested to sell drilling equipment on behalf of current owners and to source specific equipment for clients.
